Fitness is an important part of our well-being. There are different ways and activities we all perform to keep ourselves fit and healthy. However, can you imagine doing gymnastics at the age of 94? Looks a little far-fetched, right? Well, you will be surprised to know that there’s actually a renowned celebrity who does gymnastics at the age of 94.

Embracing life’s pleasures at 94

Sergio Corona, a true maestro of the screen, has been gracing our television screens for decades, most notably in the production of ‘Como dice el dicho’. Rumors about his health made headlines recently. But he has made it absolutely clear that for him age is just a number and he was merely enjoying a well-deserved vacation. Being in a hospital is out of the question for him.

Recently he sat down for a chat with presenter Yordi Rosadoto. In the discussion, Sergio shared his love for the finer things in life. He’s a man who knows how to savor moments, be it a glass of wine or the delightful aroma of mezcal.

He’s also no stranger to life’s indulgences – he has enjoyed cigars for years. However, he decided to quit smoking over four decades ago, realizing that public places were turning into “oops” zones due to the enticing scent of his cigar.

Talking about the secret behind his incredible vitality at 94, Sergio credits gymnastics for this. While many of us struggle to touch our toes, Sergio shares, “I do gymnastics: first, with the neck (moving it side to side), then I continue with arms, balls here and there (moving his arms like a pro).”

But that’s not all. Sergio follows his gymnastics routine with a well-planned diet. He likes relishing pork rinds and even indulges in occasional vegetable delights like purslane. His breakfast generally includes orange juice with papaya or apple, a cozy egg with a toasted bun, mint tea, and a couple of sweet rolls. When it comes to lunch, he enjoys dining out, though he’s a bit secretive about the details of his menu.

Embrace the Sergio Spirit!

Sergio Corona isn’t just a name; he’s a legend of Mexican cinema. With over 50 telenovelas under his belt, he’s captured hearts with his roles as Don Tomas Leon and Don Boni in ‘Come dice el dicho’ and ‘Plaza Sésamo’, respectively. Remember that bellboy from the 1989 James Bond movie ‘License to Kill’? That’s him!

Born on October 7, 1928, in Pachuca, Hidalgo, Mexico, Sergio’s journey through the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema has been nothing short of remarkable. He’s embraced life’s pleasures, stayed fit with his unique gymnastics routine, and maintained a balanced yet delectable diet – all contributing to his vibrant presence on and off the screen.

Nevertheless, he is an inspiration for all of us to infuse the same spirit into our life. Whether it’s dancing through your living room or indulging in your favorite treats, you can discover your own fitness routine.
