Wood shocked The Bold and the Beautiful fans in November 2021 by announcing she and her husband Elan Ruspoli were expecting again. The couple is parents to two sons and expressed their desire to have a big family. “Elan and I dreamed of having a large family as we are both only children and are over the moon that our dreams are coming true,” Wood told People.

The actor walks into an open field with a bow and arrow in an Instagram video. A black balloon with “boy or girl” is tied to a target.
Wood takes her shot, and blue confetti explodes out of the popped balloon. The actor then joyously embraces her three-year-old son Rise as she celebrates the news.
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is already a mom to two sons
Wood will be outnumbered in her house, The Bold and the Beautiful star is a mom to two sons. Her eldest son Rise was born in March 2019, and her second son Lennix was born in February 2021. Nine months after Lennix’s birth, Wood announced baby number three was on the way.
While Wood loves being a mom and is excited about being pregnant again, she admits it is challenging. During an interview on BOLD Live, Wood said that she’s exhausted between pregnancy and taking care of two toddlers. “I mean, I’m not going to lie; I lived my best life. I don’t sleep because I have a one-year-old and a three-year-old, and I’m pregnant.”
However, the actor could rest while filming Steffy’s coma scenes. Wood fell asleep a few times during taping, and the directors opted to let the mom-to-be relax instead of waking her.
She’s set to go on maternity leave from ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’
The Bold and the Beautiful fans will be saying goodbye to Steffy when Wood goes on maternity leave. The actor is due to give birth in May, and the writer will have to plan Steffy’s exit. Steffy’s been in a massive storyline after she and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) were shot by Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). Steffy’s memory returned in time to get Sheila arrested, yet her problems are far from over.
She now faces life as a widow after Finn’s death, and she’ll always be worried about Sheila. Although her family’s been a great support, Steffy might need time for herself and leave town for a while. With Steffy gone, the family will have to deal with the aftermath of Sheila’s crime, and something tells us she’s not finished with Steffy.
