Love Island fans were gobsmacked last night when a shock eviction twist meant the villa's "power couple", Jess and Dom, were split up following Jess's surprise exit. The 24-year-old glamour model has since opened up about being forced to leave her new beau behind.
Speaking to MailOnline, Jess said: "If Dom finds someone else, I’m happy for him. He is an amazing guy and deserves to find someone who will make him happy."
But that doesn't mean she'd find it easy to watch: "I don’t want his time in there to be cut short, just because I’ve now left. But it would be hard to watch him with another person. I can’t see him connecting with someone else anytime soon," she added.
She then explained that althought she didn't feel robbed by the exit, she was disappointed. "I’m sad that I won’t get to wake up next to Dom every morning," she said.
Jess left the villa on Wednesday night's episode after host Caroline Flack arrived in true #FlackAttack style, and announced that the Islanders would have to pick one girl and one boy to send home out of the couples with the least public votes - Mike and Olivia, Chris and Khloe, and Jess and Dom.
The girls made the decision to send Mike home while the boys opted for Jess, leaving Dom in tears and viewers on Twitter going wild.
