In a recent interview with ESNEWS, Tyson talked about why he wore no socks while fighting. “I was used to it,” said the former undisputed heavyweight champion. Further, he added jokingly, “But if you saw my feet, you were gonna cry.”
The interviewer asked Tyson about the upcoming Benavidez vs Plant fight. Mike replied by telling the interviewer that he is impressed by Plant, however, would want to see him fight other guys.

Describing his experience of fighting without socks, Tyson said that he had to get his feet cleaned after every fight. Furthermore, he added that his feet “blew up “ after a fight and had fungus all over them.
