Ariana Grande just got a new tattoo — and there's a special meaning behind it.

Grande took to her Instagram story on Tuesday to share photos of a character named Chihiro from the 2001 anime film "Spirited Away," who served as inspiration for her latest ink.

One photo of Chihiro was accompanied by text that said "we doing it @girlknewyork."

The 25-year-old tagged a tattoo artist named Mira Mariah, who previously inked her with a bee that paid homage to the 2017 Manchester, UK attack that took place at Grande's concert

The "God Is a Woman" singer later posted a photo of her newly inked arm, which now has a design that replicates Chihiro.

Prior to revealing her tattoo, Grande included a lengthy description of Chihiro, a 10-year-old girl who travels to the "Spirit World" and "matures from an easily-scared girl with a child-like personality to match her age to a hard-working, responsible, and brave young girl who has learned to put her fears aside for those she cares for."

This isn't the first time Grande has mentioned her love for "Spirited Away." Recently, the singer tweeted about her and fiancé Pete Davidson messily eating "like the parents" from the movie.

In 2016, Grande honored Michiyo Yasuda, a late artist and color designer who worked on the Oscar-winning movie.

Grande's Chihiro tattoo joins one of several that she has on her body — including ink dedicated to her late grandfather and a design in honor of Davidson's father.
